MENUISERIES MONT-ROYAL INC is the architectural millworks division of P & R DESJARDINS CONSTRUCTION INC located in Montreal. Founded in 1960 by the Desjardins family, the enterprise is specialized in the renovation, expansion and heritage restoration of architectural woodworks of the highest quality for the commercial, institutional and residential sectors.
Supplied services:
- FSC and LEED expertise and training when required to facilitate the implementation of a Traceability Management System in compliance with the standard FSC-STD-40-004 version 2.0 (EN).
- Coaching A to Z the creation and implementation of the FSC Chain of Custody of all purchased FSC materials from the design step to the final delivery.
Realizations:
Implementation is presently 85 % completed and final certification by QMI SAI Global is planned in 2014 with the last version FSC-STD-40-004 version 2.1 (FR)

MRC DE LA-VALLÉE-DE-LA-GATINEAU
Customer profile:
A provincial wardenship located north of Ottawa-Gatineau which gather 17 Municipalities and 5 non organized lands (13424 km2). Its territory also encompasses 2 Algonquin Communities (Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg close to Maniwaki and Mitchikanibikok Inik-Lac Barrière close to Val d'Or). The MRC includes a dedicated forest department in charge to manage the municipal forest ("de proximité") and the Intramunicipal Public Lands (TPI) under the authority of the MAMROT ministry
Supplied services:
Expertise, coaching and auditing including training and mentoring of the forest officials to develop, document, implement, maintain and improve an integrated Forest Environmental Management System (FEMS) certifiable to ISO 14001, CSA Z809, SFI and PEFC from 1998 to 2011.
Realizations:
Implementation and certification as per ISO 14001 were achieved successfully in 2011 and registered at QMI SAI Global.
Implementation of CSA Z809-SFI-PEFC are still in progress.
