Elected president of the Board in 1995, he shut down the AQQ to co-fund the MQQ under the politic pressure from the MDEIE who was subsidizing a rival organisation of lobbysts (IQQT).
Mouvement Québécois de la Qualité (MQQ)
Gérard Blin has co-funded the MQQ in 1995, a new and unique Quality Association to replace the preceding AQQ and IQQT and to pursue the Quebec quest for Quality with the full support of the MDEIE. In recognition, he was appointed as Life Honorary Member and then, the responsibility to assure the leadership on the new organization was passed to the VP Human Resources of Hydro Québec in 1995.
